This game SEEMS really cool, but I can't make it past the first baddie. My computer's great. I'm great. I would suggest toning him down a bit so you don't immediately turn 80% of your audience away.
This game shows a true understanding of the scene. Because of this, it is one of the coolest things on NG. While, no, the gameplay isn't groundbreaking or original at all, it accomplishes exactly what it should. Nice job.
You have all these slow-mo action shots implying a really fast-paced movie. But, I think your movie has just exhibited how you can't rely exclusively on those types of shots; you have to break out into spurts of realtime action every now and then for it to be believable.
The fact that they're beating up a sandbag makes this boring to me. I can beat up a sandbag. So what? Yeah, they looked cool doing it, but that's really all this movie has going for it. That, and the Tetris part. :)
kinda like ico or myst where you have no idea what to do and the fun is figuring it out. Only difference is this isn't fun. Maybe just delete the first level? Or if the graphics were more enticing, maybe I'd care.
really? This was the first thing I ever made, and I was just trying to learn how flash worked.
But yes I suppose it may have been vaguely inspired by mystish things, although the latter levels werent basically I just tried anything I thought I could do.
The landscape reminds me of Princess Mononoke. Super-lush, rolling green hills and forestry. Your strokes are expressive, yet cohesive. You achieved an incredible sense of speed. Unfortunately, the speed seemed too fast for the song.
